These photos are from Greg's article in the January, 1999 issue of Model Railroading. The photos represent two typical X45's one in the "Keystone on the Ball" scheme the other in the "Billboard Lettering and Shadowed Keystone" scheme. The kits are form the ACCURAIL 50 foot single door kit with the rivets removed. The PRR freight car color is a mixture of Testors Rust and SOCONY (bright red) about 20% red to 80% rust. The decals are Champ (BALL scheme) and Middle Division (Billboard Lettering). The photos are taken outside in natural light F22 at 1/8 second with a macro lens. The (RS-3) AS-16ms is from an MDC kit with extensive details added. It was an article in Mainline Modeler.
