In the early twenties, Paul T. Warner wrote a series of articles for the magazine "Baldwin Locomotives."  The articles were compiled in a book which I have reprinted here.  The original that I scanned is in the Stevens Institute of Technology Library.  I hope you enjoy reading it!  Only the first few pages are online so far (out of 80.)  I'll be adding the rest of the pages as I can find the time!
